K9 Nose Work
Proud to be the first to bring the original K9 Nose Work to Canada! K9 Nose Work is the fastest growing dog sport in North America. Why? because all dogs can do it and handlers of all abilities can do it. What’s the big deal? Dogs have an amazing scenting ability. It’s far beyond human capacity. But during a dog’s life, we continue to tell our dogs to leave it alone.
K9 Nose Work, the exciting new detection-style sport is designed to develop a dog’s natural scenting ability by using their desire to hunt and their love of toys, food and exercise. It’s a great way for your dog to have fun, build confidence and burn lots of mental and physical energy.
The art and practice of nose work has now reached dogs of all shapes and sizes and has made basic search dog skills available to companion dogs, creating a new urban sport arena for dog enthusiasts.

Welcome to the Agility Association of Canada
The AAC, founded in 1988, is committed to promoting inclusive, competitive dog agility at a local, regional, national and international level, for all handlers and dogs without regard to pedigree. Agility is a challenge and a competition to be enjoyed by handler, dog and spectator. The main elements of the sport are good sportsmanship and fun for the dogs and handler.
AAC Agility Trials are open to all four legged dogs capable of demonstrating the element of agility and control and the mental and physical ability to carry out the required tests. Dog agility is a fun and exciting sport in which dog and handler teams run through courses of obstacles.

AGILITY FOR THE FUN OF IT
The programs at the Dog Ranch Training & Information Centre are based on utilizing only positive dog training methods. Very simply, that means we reward our dogs for doing what we ask them to, and remove an anticipated reward when they do something we feel is inappropriate. The key is that we don’t physically punish our dogs when they misbehave. Call us: 778-866-6663.
