Level 2 Obedience Training
A continuation of puppy kindergarten and Level 1 beginners, this class is designed for the dog who has recently graduated from a beginner class.
Class content will include getting your dog to the next level of obedience, weaning off treats, reliable down/stays and come, as well as walking without pulling and ways to prevent jumping.
We will demonstrate the use of head halters to prevent pulling and how they can help you teach your dog to walk nicely on a leash.
The goal of this class is to improve your dog’s reliability in response to commands and to increase your skills as a trainer.
Pre-requisite: Successful completion of either Puppy Kindergarten or Adult Step 1 class, or with Instructor permission. Dogs must not be people or dog aggressive in order to attend class.
Class meets weekly for 7 weeks, one hour sessions. Adult Step 2 class requires advance registration to guarantee a space. Click on the link to view our next available Level 2 Class.
